Rod Warner - Manager
Rod Warner has been with Northeast Mutual since October of 1999, coming to NEM with over a decade of experience in regulatory insurance company operations audits. He is in charge of claims administration, company development, personnel and much of the daily operation of the company located in Cando.
Barry Townsend - Co-manager
Barry Townsend started in the insurance industry in the spring of 1982 as a claims adjuster. In 1995, he became the manager of LaMoure-Greenfield Mutual until the time of its merger with Northeast Mutual in 2001. Barry's duties include, but are not limited to, agent marketing, claims, risk reviews, and economic development. He is also involved with the development of NEM-RMS.
Carol Knutt - Chief Financial Officer & Claims Administration Officer
Carol Knutt is in charge of tracking investments, accounts payable and receivable, and statutory reporting. She is also in charge of processing commissions and doing special projects. Carol manages the data base and control system for claims, agency loss ratios, daily receipts and disbursements. She is also in charge of the day-to-day operations of NEM-RMS. Carol comes from a business management background and has been with us since Dec. 1999.
Kim Fagerlund - NEM-RMS Coordinator/Underwriter
Kim Fagerlund is in charge of scheduling and organizing all risk reviews on property for Northeast Mutual and other companies using NEM-RMS services. She is in charge of Manufactured Home Underwriting and assists in special projects. Kim has been with the company since December 2002 and comes from the retail business area.
Phyllis Bubach - Policy Processing Coordinator/Underwriter
Phyllis Bubach is in charge of the Farm & Home Policy underwriting. Phyllis is also in charge of all policy processing and change orders on existing policies.
Duane Schumacker - Director Of Technical Support
Duane Schumacker, Director Of Technical Support is in charge of web development. He provides computer support, technical equipment service, and does the purchasing of all computer systems and their components.
Phoebe DeKrey - Information Coordinator
Phoebe DeKrey, will be working with special projects and is in charge of the phone network, mail distribution system, and record retention. Phoebe comes from the banking industry and has been with the company since September, 2006.
Vicki Moseng - Director of Marketing
Vicki Moseng joined Northeast Mutual in August of 2008. She brings to the company over 26 years of mutual insurance experience. She will oversee the marketing division of the company, perform agent reviews, agent training and agent marketing. Vicki will also be involved in company development and form development for Northeast Mutual.
